Wow: Tom finally got old.

Bound to happen. But it's weird to see it actually happen.

Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.

Noticed the "Dad Bod"

reply

He is a mixture of getting old and botox.

It's that man again!!

reply

He still looks good for his age, but given his size his tough-guy image was always based on looking cut and tough.

reply

I know, he has done something with his face... It's more than just getting old. He looks totally different imo

reply

They kept his "new" face beat up for the whole movie. The opening scene starts after a fist fight where four men are laid out on the ground. Cruise has bruises on his face from that fight, and they kept that look for the rest of the film, adding cuts and bruises when appropriate.

reply

The book Jack Reacher would never have been as beat up as Cruise was in the opening diner scene. The only way the book Reacher would have been that beat up is if he brawled with the entire defensive line of an NFL football team.

reply

Yeah this is the first movie where he has looked older. I don't think he has had any work done.

I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.

reply

I also would say this is the first movie where I noticed Tom looking visibly aged.

reply

He was pretty shredded for Oblivion... not sure what happened with this one. Two years later and he's gained what looks like 20 lbs, which does not look good on his small frame. Arms looked smaller too...

reply

He was cut, but he has never been shredded.
