I think they were trying to attract 80s/90s nostalgic people. Doing this would definitely work...!

While I can kind of agree with you regarding Danica, and Jaleel, I don't agree with you regarding Fred. But then, I did grow up watching Hunter faithfully, and while I wasn't crazy with his portrayal of the cop in this movie, out of the three, he did the best job, IMO. Jaleel was the WORST, though!
