'Looks like a positive ID to me...'

2 groans, a touch of the head....Yup, positive ID Urkel.

Ha ha I just saw that part, that cracked me up especially after the cop lady had just said how they are good detectives.

reply

I couldn't believe he kept saying that. I was just glad that Dryer got annoyed with him for saying it.

This movie is just getting worse and worse. Too bad there's nothing else on. *sigh*

What really got me was that they brought her into the hospital for Faye to ID at her bedside. Really when would they bring a person suspected of beating another woman unhandcuffed to the victims bedside. They would have brought a picture and should have done a line up with similar pictures for a real positive id.

reply

Agreed. Just goes to show how much of a joke those detectives were. They were postitive it was Ellen and just wanted to wrap up the case. Urkel (no matter what character he plays, I always see Urkel) was a real jerk in this movie.

lol...i know lifetime movies are cheesy but cmon man! First off they would never bring the prime suspect in the same room for a ID from the victim...much less right in front of her/him as they wake from a coma....

gah..i think ive seen it all now from lifetime.

reply

I agree. To avoid later problems in the courtroom police bring a photo array of about 6 different people, one of which is the suspect. They asked the victim to ID one of the six. They would never bring the suspect in person and point to her and ask if she is the one who attacked you. What victim, coming out of a coma wouldn't agree. Do you think this method of identification would hold up to cross examination? Never.

I liked when Danica made a fool out of him on the witness stand with her snappy comeback --- "Well I'm glad YOU'RE satisfied Urkel!" Ha
This movie was actually not bad. Danica's a fine actress, quite impressed by her.

reply

I've never heard of a defendant being brought to the victim for identification. Ellen is beyond naive....talks too much when she shouldn't, loses her temper when she shouldn't and allows herself to be humiliated.

Knock if off Napolean make yourself a dang quesadil-la!

reply

hahaha. he kept saying it!

I can't believe I watched this whole movie, it was bloody awful.

reply

You watched it because you were hooked, weren't you! I thought it was bloody good, actually.

reply

The cops and the her original defence lawyer seemed so lackadaisical to me. Hey ho.

I think the dude who use to play Urkel did a horrendous job trying to act like a detective - he was horrible, every time he opened him mouth he sounded like an idiot. The other detective just wanted the case over with b/c he's looking to retire, and why not got out w/a big case like this. I love Danica McKellar she is always good in her movies - she was the ONLY reason I watched.
