Another Lifetime Classic! Cheeseball'ish but great!

1st time watching this film and though it is slow at times, it is still a great film.

These Lifetime & LMN movies are kind of like modern pulp fiction. The lead Actress, Danica McKellar is exceptional as the mellow and harmless gullible housewife who is outrageously charged with a violent crime.

Even she knows it is preposterous. But, she goes thru the steps of everything a person should not do, Jaleel White & his Detective partner seem deliberately and comically over the top with the good cop, bad cop routine ...

And the nice Danica ends up in the joint. Sobbing with a genuine portrayal of 'this kind of thing doesn't happen to people like me'

That is important because the old line "that type of thing doesn't happen in this part of town" doesn't stand up in this modern world.

Sheer terror and confusion mixed with a very accurate portrayal of a sleazeball lawyer ... Plenty of those out there.

And then we Danica shine, first? When homegirl prison lady tries to bully Danica who promptly puts her in an arm twist and out words her with tuff talk, storming off, angry, still clueless though

At first, she reminds of the super funny blonde hair young lady who plays comic foil in the Scary Movie series and also in House Bunnies.

But, she flips a real curve ball when she realizes the system just wants to convict her and close the matter, pure apathy, no Justice, she gets pissed, then gets tough!

Her Husband's skirt chasing has this wrongly accused Danica one of the victims as the Women he had on the side, dropped her smack dab in the middle!

The finale? Were this film and Danica and the supporting Actors a good wine ...? That wine would be called Columbo ...

As in the old school TV series Columbo where Columbo walks around apparently clueless and gullible until he swoops up on the bad guy/gal and is cool like that in his way of closing the matter.

This is really a well done comedy/tragedy. Done so on a finite budget, meant not to be taken too seriously with a happy ending.

Rock on Danica! As well, Rock on Lifetime & LMN, Directors, Producers, writers, staff and Actors!!!
