Haider, mera inteqaam lena ...

As a hindi speaker, I really love the sound of Urdu words. They gave the dialogues in this movie that extra depth and fit perfectly with the setting. Really loved it.

Maroonga tujhe, jab tu gunaah mein hoga. Dua mein nahin 😣

Indeed those lines were the spirit of this movie.

Tu dua mein tha is liye nai mara tjhe, maar deta tu tujh jesay soo'r ko bhe janat mil jati
Maroun ga tjhe jub tu gunah me ho ga, du'a mein nahi

There's a similar scene in Hamlet where Hamlet decides not to kill his uncle while he's praying, fearing that his uncle would go to heaven if he dies in prayer. Hamlet just quietly leaves. I love how Haider confronts his uncle instead and of course his dialogue is perfect. I personally enjoyed Haider much more than the original Hamlet. I studied Hamlet in high school and never cared for it. ( I liked Macbeth, guess now I have to see Maqbool). I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked Haider.
