Yes. I watched the movie with subtitles on and when she walks into his hospital room she calls him dad.

She lied...

Yeah, she told the staff this in hopes that they'd let her have a minute to talk to him...they were serious about her leaving the room, so she'd have a better shot at getting a minute with him if she said he's her father than saying "oh, he's our friend/neighbor".

They mentioned the father died when Sarah was very young. She only said that so she could be allowed to talk to him. Watch the movie before you post.
