really bad

Certainly didn't hold up to the previews. I stopped watching halfway. Poor plot, acting, little dialogue and too much wasted camera panning around for no reason.

Different for a Hallmark movie. Nor bad.

I watched this movie sort of. The beginning was a warning how bad it might be and it didn't get any better. The acting was really bad by everyone. Nothing was plausible. I like the writer but I don't know if she is running out of ideas or what but this was so unbelievable. I realize this is a book/movie but come on it could at least but somewhat possible for this stuff to happen.

Who played the role of Parker's mother? She's not listed in the car anywhere - not even on Hallmark website.

reply

It's on the Hallmark website. Janet Laine-Greene. what bothered me most was the miscasting of Jack Wagner who is only 17 years older than Rachel Blanchard, his "daughter." And looks young for his age. Was there supposed to be a romance in the making between Parker's Mom and him? Way too young for her too. Very not good. FF'ed through most of it.

Strange how brief the credits are.

Who was the beautiful young blonde woman who appeared around the time of the kidnapping and fails to be listed in the credits? She should've been the lead.

...and the car they called a "Chevelle" was actually a Pontiac Beaumont. (Similar car built by GM of Canada) They even show a close up of the front where it says BEAUMONT on the grill. Oops. Filmed in Canada, I get it. But call it what it is or do a better job in editing.

I kept with it till the end. But it was a hard slog for me. The only character that I liked was Wallace.

The movie wasn't horrible. It's Rachel Blanchard's acting that was horrible. Expressionless. Emotionless. Awful.
