Loved the movie! You all must be Idiots!

I find it unbelievable that this movie got such a bad rating and reviews. You all must be a bunch of idiots to miss the great psychological subtleties in this film. This is one of the creepiest psychological horror flix I've seen in a while and I'm a horror movie fanatic. I watched it on my 100" projection screen and with dolby surround sound which makes movie watching a better experience than simply watching it on a laptop like many of you have. It was like I was in those creepy woods with her. I think I'll order the blu ray!

Do yourself a favor and research the Aokigahara forest, aka suicide forest. Many people have gone there to kill themselves and have changed their mind but got lost in the forest and ended up dead from exposure. It's a truly haunted forest with lost souls in a state of purgatory, deep sadness can be felt just walking through the woods.

I don't care if you watched this alone at a private screening being served Popcorn on tap and free refills on your mammonth sized Coke. This Film had all the depth of an irishman going Snorkling in a puddle after a fortnights drought.

I think anyone who's watched this film knows about the history of the forest in question and that might just have been one of the reasons they were drawn to it...Don't you think?? Mmmm?? Perhaps?? yes, thats right!!

The Forest isn't infact haunted, whats haunted is the individuals who enter there. It is easy to get lost once you wander off the paths and with no defined landmarking in order to gain your bearings you're in the doo doo aren't you?? yes, you are. Being alone with already dark thoughts, sensory deprivation can lead people to hallucinate and concoct all manner of demons, none are physically real, all are within the individuals head.

Now, the Film. I must be one of these 'idiots' you called out as personally i never noticed any psychological subtleties in this Film, not one single one.
As far as i'm concerned all was far too obvious, there was no cohesion to the Film, the jump scares were signposted well in advance and never varied...Camera would pan in on her glaikit pus, she'd turn round to look behind her, turn back and WOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!! 'Scary face'... Wow, the number of times i'd have soiled my pants had i not been an idiot, honestly, you've no idea.
Beside those rather obvious moments, some of which ocurred before she'd even set foot in the Forest of doom for some reason...Ah, is this the subtleties you mean?? They were sneakily trying to inform us that she was already off her nut before she arrived in japan?? yeah, sorry, not subtle in the least, this was once more signposted within minutes of the Film starting.
I'm trying to think of anything which was done with subtleties in this Film to be honest. it was all handled very clumsily from my viewpoint, just more stupid people doing stupid things for no other reason than their character was stupid.
So unless you can enlighten me as to the cinematic genius i've somehow missed??
Can you?? I'd be ever so grateful.
Nothing is Black and White. Even Black and White are only extreme shades of Grey.
