I attended the second screening today at TIFF. It was a beautiful film from start to finish. Stellar performances from David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike. Their chemistry brought this love story to life. I expect to see it shine come awards season.
shareTotally agree! I thought it was going to be slow and rather boring, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the setting was just sublime especially the external London scenes with the mist in the air and subdued street lighting😍 *sigh*
shareIt was one of the most beautiful love story I've ever seen. How the two of them were able to bridge all the problems they met along the way, and still managed to convince all that they could rise above the problems and be united. And they did.
