Very good documentary about domestic violence

I got mad, I cried and I cheered. As a survivor of domestic violence it was hard to see the show but it also made me realize how lucky I am to have gotten out of my situation. The one and only thing I would have changed about the show is at the very end when they showed how everyone was doing and where they are in their lives they needed to make the lettering bigger. I had one heck of a time reading it. I had to pause it and even then it took me a bit to be able to read it. Congratulations to the ladies who got out. Thoughts and prayers go out to the survivors, especially Deanna and also the woman who is in jail for killing her husband...I hope that they can prove it was self defense and get her out.

All of their stories were so sad and there are still so many cases that don't get reported!

So in the main story about Deanna and Robbie why was the guy let go by the police. From the photos it seemed the woman was half-dead. Because they were across the border in Oklahoma why did they let him go? They told him to take his wife home without detaining him. I did not understand why this happened?
