Exceptionally good, surprisingly good - loved it

Story is so well told, so well done. The ability to actually be subtle with things in a game and not slap you in the face with them is a welcome gchange.
Solid as heck gameplay, great graphics, very good voice acting and mocap - good story, good characters, honestly worth every penny. Not many Single Player games left nowadays, let alone SP FPS - buy it if you haven't already.

Completely agree with everything you said.
Every single character is unique. The soundtrack is also great.

*spoilers*

In terms of story, I have to admit I was more pleased with what they DIDN'T do, just as much as what they did do.

For example...

1) I kept waiting for Fergus to be killed off, doubtless selflessly giving his life to save Blasko.

2) I expected there to be a traitor among the resistance group.

3) I expected Anya to turn.

These are just pretty standard cliches, and I'm actually ashamed that I expected them, and didn't give the developers enough credit. Friends were friends, enemies were enemies, and it was surprisingly refreshing not to have such turns play out. Greatly added to the emotion of the story.

Will have to play it again, but next time I, a) save Wyatt, b) make sure I give Max his toys back before I start the next main mission.
