Well I think we all know how this will go....straight to DVD! I will give this a go but only because of the fairly talented Emmett Scanlan. I have to say this is another disappointing role for Emmett, acting alongside nobodies in a nothing movie. I had high hopes for his career. Why does he keep getting these awful 'career suicide' jobs when he has a talent and what would you guys like to see him in?

I'm sorry, what? Emmett Scanlan in amongst nobody actors? He's not even top billed! He's not even an actor compared to James Cosmo. One did Hollyoaks the other did Hollywood blockbuster Braveheart! Deluded person lol
He has disappointing roles to you because he's not center stage right now. Compared to other soap actors he's doing great just by having a job. It's hardly career suicide. He peaked with Hollyoaks so if you're waiting for bigger you'll be disappointed. There's not much bigger for soap actors than being centre of a soap, on screen daily. And that's what he is whether you like it or not - a soap actor.
He will continue to get bit parts in movies where better actors are the stars, then eventually he will probably end up in EE or back in HO.. That's life - reality bites.
s Cosmo was in it, but apart from him they're all has been or unknown actors apart from Emmett that's what I was tryna say. Obv I know he's not as good as Hollywood actors and I'm not expecting him to land a blockbuster movie but I expected more than a third rate show like In the Flesh and then the same crappy parts in the types of duff stuff he was doing before Hollyoaks that's all. I thought he would get more british TV work in decent series like Broadchurch or Mr Selfridge, big shows like that instead of the nonsense he's getting.
shareCouldn't agree with you more. I thought he would quickly go on to much bigger things, at least some notable leads, especially given his performance in HO - which I only watched for his scenes. I can't help but feel disappointed for him because he's capable of so much more. Hey well, I'm sure he's probably happy with how things are going

It is hardly like to stay at this 6.5 rating as I find it hard to have anything rated over 3.0 that has Craig Fairbrass even as a lower supporting actor [also of soap television and I was not impressed with anything back then]. His part in Cliffhanger did not spoil my viewing as we did have John Lithgow wasp chewing as a reviewer puts it.
I will have look for free of course but do not hold out for it giving me much pleasure.
