Couldnt make it through an hour and a half. It felt like 4 hours. And there was still an hour left. What happened after? Nevermind, I dont care.
Please stop making these. First was good, second was meh, third was solid, 4th was passable, 5th fell off a cliff.
Thankfully I watched this for free online. I implore everyone else to do the same. Actually I implore you to not watch it at all.
It is a long movie, and it has nothing on the original Transformers or even the not-as-good second movie, which remain my two favorites.
The visual effects are pretty impressive though, but that doesn't make a movie. You have to have a compelling storyline. What can they do for the next movie? Crash a Solar System into our Solar System? Maybe crash Andromeda into the Milky Way? It's going to be very tough to top a planet scraping now, without rebooting the series.
That said Steve Jablonsky's movie soundtrack continues to impress, and I'm glad the original Transformers theme played at the end of this movie, I'm not sure why he's so afraid to use it throughout though.
