The movie contains a lot of banter beween the characters for comedy. Most conversation doesn't apply to the plot. Itsreal talky but not in the sense you would think for a movie with a bunch of writers. Theres not a lot of explaining mostly a lot of bantering between the characters.
like they try to spend alot of bantering about for example cade argues with izabel he team like nearly 7 minutes of them insulting each other". or nearly 10 minutes of hanging out in front of a castle rather then getting to the urgency of the matter as to why cade was abducted and dragged to the UK. Not to meantion a tone of pre battle "Ok guys we can do this every one get ready. I'd rather fight with no one else but... blah blah blah blah. We do this for humanity blah blah blah". In the begining were pretty much hit over the head with "Merlin won't let us down. Trust me he'll be here". Yet we never learn who king author is fighting or why the transformers even botherd to help merlin as they seem pretty annoyed when he shows up to their cave. like what exactly convinced them. Was it merlin offering to give up drinking money and women?
Its like all the dialog is wasted on every one talking S*it to each other.
Why are the autobots such a**holes to everyone especially each other. Like its not funny when they insult each other andstart pulling knives, granades and guns at each other like its funny, or wasting minutes chastising a bad puppy like grimlock for eating a car. Where the writers really expecting us to laugh at these scenes?
Even Anthony hopkins slow monologue atfer the auther scene is drug out. The dialog in this film says nothing and yet they take their time saying nothing for 2 and a half hours. Some editing would have really helped the film. I think all people involved in the production are just fatigued or something epecially the editor. Maby some new talent should take over the franchise even micheal bay himself seems to want out. I want to like these films.
