Thoughts?

reply

Would be the first time these movies actually had characters in them.

reply

In what way do you feel the characters in the cartoon are not the same in the film series

reply

the link doesn't work for me. :(

reply

Why don't you just copy paste then instead!

reply

No URL was 404ing earlier.

reply

Oh ok-So what you think of the link now

reply

I only watched this movie to see if unicron was in it. :(
I was thinking about trpticon as well but wondered how he'd fit in the movie.
Itd be interesting to see omega supreme but he probably woulden't transform on earth.
I always wondered what would happen if they played out the ultra magnese hot rodd replacement of optimus scenario like the original movie did in 1985. I'd like to see more quintissans and more back story on the transformers creation. They kinda left that mytho pretty shallow in the Last Knight. They mention it only in like once sentence.

reply

But if you did see the film you would of seen in the end credit scene:we’re thrown into a scene in the desert where one of Unicron’s horns is being examined by scientists. Suddenly, a cloaked woman comes into frame, wearing a blue/purple veil. She turns to one of the scientists to say that “he” doesn’t like to be touched, but she knows how they can get rid of the horns on the planet.
Yea Omega would be good to see, But what makes you think he wouldn't transform on earth!
Maybe they will; explain even more of the transformers creation in the next film...........Where you from :-)

reply

Yes I saw that. I know earth is unicron which means will never get to see him transform. :(
Omega supreme or metroplex would be the size of a city. If earth transforms then theres pretty much no more earth. It would have to be a speculation scene (like a flash back but more like speculation) if they intend to show unicron in robot mode. Plus I don't see how they would explain that we were standing on unicron the whole time but didn't realize it. The dust cloud alone from his foot steps would black out a city we woulden't get much footage if it was a realistic shot.

I'm from San Antonio texas USA.

reply

Yea he does transform in to a planet-But he isn't our earth, Yea I know how bloody massive Omega is if he was to transform on earth he would do damage but not wouldn't be no more earth!
I have been to Texas dozens of times over the years including the part your from and also:Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and towns in Texas among other States and towns in the U.S
I'm from the UK-You ever been?

reply

No I've only been to Japan. The movie kinda points out that earth is unicron so in the movie we won't get to see him in action. I think the whole earth angle is just there so that quentessa has motivation to attack earth.
not sure why the named the quintisan quentessa as quentessa is supposed to be the quintison home world.

reply

Oh right-You should come to the UK at some point, I haven't seen last Knight yet but they didn't mention it in the trailer or when in interviews promoting it though when seen it advertised!

What other film sequels you looking forward to be released?

reply

More alien prequels. I'm hoping they get better.

reply

Yea Ridley Scott said he is going to make like another 4 prequels to the alien franchise, What did you think of Alien: Covenant-From what I saw of the trailer and little other clips looked alright

reply

That kind of disapoints me. He's taking a thin story and trying to stretch it out across 4 movies. Its like just make one movie at a time. I've just noticed that lately when people set out to make 3 or 4 movies they end up with disgusting pacing problems as scenes stretch out more then they need too. Lord of the rings, Starwars (The prequels mostly), Lord of the rings(Had lots of original story content but the films still had a lot of dead space in them probably because they were 3 hour movies each.) The hobbit trilogy of course was really spread out. It takes them 45 minutes before they even leave bilbo baggins house.

To me Alien Covenant was a step back in the right direction in terms of an Alien movie but it was still a little thin as it didn't really expand on the alien story. All we really got out if it was
David is screwing around with Alien DNA and he's mad at humans and engineers
and thats pretty much it. We did get to see 2 newish looking xenomores. One with skin rather then an exoskeliton and a more traditional looking alien (With longer spiney protrusions on the back). When people set out to make trilogies before they've even landed the first script already tells me we're in for some boreing films.

This last knight film feels like some one already story boarded an attempt at a 3 or 4 movie set and is padding the films. I just can't see why transformers spent so much time on thin exposition. Don't get me wrong I like the films but some of the scenes are tortureous. Wrters and movie directors need to start respecting pacing requirments for films. I liked transformers but hated the pacing problems it had.

reply

I think that Transformers has run its course and I hope that they don't make anymore. The plot of this one was incredibly dumb. Somehow they made Optimus Prime and Megatron act pathetic. And what was with the CIA and Homeland Security involvement? The government can barely fund the war on terrorism much less than a war against alien robots from outer space. Not even 50 of those look scout walker type machines in this moviw should be able to destroy all those transformers. Stupid movie.

reply

I haven't seen the film yet so I can't form an opinion but from the adverts I saw it seemed alright , What do you think of the spin off prequel film for Bumblebee??
I think it will be alright so can't wait and will be set in one of my fav decades-The 80's :-)

reply

You mean B? Lol
Bubblebee was the most annoying transformer. I got sick of his lame lines of dialog. I'll pass.

reply

You mean B? What you mean lol
And Bubblebee you mean Bumblebee!
Well we don't know what his dialog will be in this film yet-Remember he didn't speak in the first transformers film which was stupid as Cartoon didn't do that!

reply

I'm not interested. What are you anyway? A studio plant?

reply

Ok fair enough it is up to you what films or TV shows you watch-And a studio plant ermmm no but I wish I was though LOL
Where you from and what TV shows do you watch at the mo :-)

reply

I'm not interested in having a personal conversation. Ok?

reply

Wow touchy, Have a nice day/evening wherever your from!!!!!!!!!!

reply

You'll have to excuse barlays. He's got something wrong in his head where he's always suspicious of peoples motives or claims. Its one thing to be skeptical of information in general its another thing to jump at conclusions about peoples motives though.

reply

Hey crc32 thanks I will bear that in mind, And yea he shouldn't be jumping to conclusions.............How is the weather your way been really warm/sunny here in my part of Kent!

reply

Its jot as usual. In the UK what rating did transformers get. is it an R15?

reply

The rating in the UK for The Last Knight was a PG-13

reply

I guess if people getting killed isn't seen at all its like there not really dead so PG-13 ratings get slapped on them. Including thousands of people dying in movies like San Andreas. Example if you see some ones car explode its cool for PG-13 but if you see the body fly out of the car your pushing a Rated R rating. In the UK Terminator 2 was given an R-15 rating since it didn't show a lot of blood but still showed a lot of deaths. In the US it got an R rating although when I see it today its a very soft R. I think the only thing that would have made terminator 2 R rated in the UK was the scene were the T-1000 slams 2 cops into a concrete pillar in the underground parking scene so it was cut.
