Those two Mexican kids were ANNOYING

I get why they used then but NOT REALLY! They were both extremely annoying and I fous myself uncomfortable when their scenes were on. They coulda did better casting in that area.

They were the only problem for me in this film.

For me the girl was fine the boy was a little annoying. Also the lead boy couldn't act worth a lick.

The actor playing the mom was so bad that everybody else looked like Laurence Olivier.

And sadly shes been around in films and TV for a long time. Her acting was terrible in this.

I think Dejon LaQuake and Mia Xitali were great in their roles!

Mia Xitali was actually the best one in the movie ( except Max). If you pay close attention you Will see that everyone and I mean everyone was predictable.... Except her. One other thing that was interesting was how Carmen was set up to be not only Justin"s girlfriend now, but for many years in the future.a two scenes showed that: 1 Where it was noted that Chuy was not her brother but her cousin, and how she was sleeping on the couch. Obviously Chuy"s was not her home. 2: The scene at the end where Max growled at Chuy for yelling at her. Max only had love for members of the Wincott Family ( he knew Justin was connected to Kyle when he first saw him in the church). Yet, Carmen received that treatment from him. Its like Max knew that she would be a member of the family.

Luke Kleintank gave a flawless performance. And before you say "I knew he was bad" just remember it was the script.

reply

I thought the girl was mostly OK but I totally agree about Chuy. He was super annoying.

reply

I have been over this before but Chuy was supposed to be annoying. The differences between him and Carmen are obvious. Courage and intelligence are just a couple.

reply

Terrible actors, just terrible.I wouldn't have hired those kids for an " After School Special. "

100% Comic Book Purist, and Bloody Proud of it !

reply

Yeah, I rarely expect much in the way of acting in movies like this.

The two Mexican kids were there to add diversity. Ironic that their act a total stereotype of Hispanics.

reply

the girl was awesome, the boy a dumbass. (or should i say pendejo?) but i get why they were both there. one to represent stereotypes, one to combat them.

reply

Why in a dog movie did they want to address and debunk Mexican stereotypes and make fun if the white peoples is still a curiosity to me though. Every human sucked. Except the brother that died and anyone else in the movie for less than 3 minutes.

Chuy was annoying. I like Carmen, to a point. But I don't think her tendency to hit Chuy every chance she got was funny. In fact, it was stupid and overused.
