I had it recorded on the DVR, and when I started to watch it for about ten minutes, I did not think I was going to like it. I checked what was said on IMDb, and I deleted the show from my DVR. I do not like "open ended" stories. I prefer to have them with a beginning, a middle, and an end. This also seemed too dark for my tastes.

It was a little dark. But I thought it was well done. If they pick up the show as a series and we get some resolved storylines, it would be worth it to check out part 1 if you can handle the content. It wasn't terrible... I'm typically sensitive to disturbing movies and it didn't really bother me though there were some sad parts. Overall I really liked it and would continue to watch if it became a series.
