Gentile face? Is that a thing?

You definitely see some Jewish actors playing some characters who are very not-Jewish. (Sort of rephrasing something Sarah Silverman once said). Of course, they were fine actors all, but so are Cillian Murphy and Hellen Mirren, and there was some kvetching not long ago about them playing famous Jewish folks, so the quality of the acting isn't the issue.

You don't really see any stories critical of that from mainstream media, so I guess I'm not supposed to be bothered. It's cool. In fact, if I were in the entertainment industry and not just some internet rando, I daresay just bringing up the subject would be a career ender. Something something antisemitic something.
