Why is Rhiannon Giddens not a superstar?

She would have to want it, being a superstar that is. And it seemed to me, after seeing her perform in this film specifically, that she might be a bit leery of the obvious power she has. She may be afraid of it, or may not want the responsibility...or at least not yet. I would merely be content if she continued to make music.

No matter how many times I have seen Another Day, I still applaude in awe and wonder at the end of her performance.

I loved Giddens, but Lake Street Dive really did it for me too.
