A movie about a spoiled privileged white kid stealing cars because it's fun or because his parents go divorced. He acts tough but can't even do a push up. This movie has garbage written all over it.

State champ in martial arts, trained with firearms, I eFF'n dare you!

I didn't much care for the film, but you misunderstood it. It's a film about a regular kid that bought drugs which ended up with him arguing with his father and sister in the car and because of it, the kid blew a stop sign and his father and sister were both killed.

Here we have this kid that's got a genius level I.Q.(with total recall) who makes a simple mistake and blames himself for it, but instead of dealing with it in a normal therapeutic manner and staying strong for his mother, he chooses to act like a total piece of sh!t by ignoring his mother and her pain and getting himself arrested.

The film was about him punishing himself over the huge amount of guilt of having caused the death of his family(father and sister). He stole the car for the sole purpose to be caught and arrested and he acted in every way possible to get himself beaten, punished, further beaten, arrested and rearrested. He wasn't acting tough, he was pressing every button possible to fvck himself up and punish himself. It was his own f'ked up way of internalising what happened and not dealing with it head on.
