i don't understand ...*spoilers*

why marina would want an invite to Laura's birthday- when it's only been two weeks and they haven't properly hung out?
why would she think she was owed an invite with laura's family and friends...when she didn't even know her that long and had been stalking her?

30 messages in one evening from someone i added few days- would have reported Marina and the police

reply

She was crazy, end of reasoning.

But some people here think Lauren was unfair and rude to Marina

If Lauren had a huge birthday bash with 100 people then i can understand why she was rude in not inviting Marina

But she had an intimate meal with her close friends her boyfriend and her mother!! why would anyone think that marina had a place there?!?!

reply

Laura didn't owe Marina anything. Anyone who think she did clearly does not have a mature understanding of appropriate boundaries/behavior.

Yes. 

maybe marina wasn't the witch, just another victim who wanted to be free, she wanted laura to save her from the witch

She's depressed, lonely and unstable apart from being a witch. It's actually a very real thing where someone can attach themselves in these states and depend on them for everything... Constant messages at all hours of the day and night, lash outs of anger, paranio and the list goes on.

Usually it's a case of someone just needing attention and so they threaten suicide and won't talk to family or doctors and just one person... Which can be face to face or in this case, online .... However these people can be treated with medicine and therapy unlike in this movie where witch craft was involved.
