Cant belive
this movie only got 5,3, this is great movie. Anybody else who loved it ?

I'm 37 minutes into watching it right now and I hopped on IMDB for some opinions, trivia etc. I usually sit through whole movies before hitting the internet! But, I was distracted by the weird pacing - instead of childhood followed by storytelling in a bar to the present.. flashbacks would have been more appropriate and worked better to break the film up. It needs a good edit in my opinion. There are some unnecessary parts, needs more exposition and less character chatter, there are some really excellent acting,.mixed with some really duff acting too which is weird because it pulls you out of the story when a really badly delivered line sticks out suddenly. Also, I understand that its a true story but there are a number of 'bosses' that appear unexplained. The casting is imbalanced too. A few unknowns as leads then out of nowhere some really well known actors like Madsen and you've got Alex Baldwin and Mike Tyson too!

shareLol, if you open up the ratings it shows the women loved this movie, DeMeo should've left his shirt off for the whole film. I mean, I liked it, too, in a so bad it's good way. The editing made it bad, (the Tyson scene made me feel bad for Mike). The rating is really surprising. This is not a chick flick, just the opposite, yet the ladies loved it and the guys just slammed it. What does this tell me? I need to do some work on my abs.
shareI hated it. Dumb movie. According to this movie, Visigoths - -ez surnames - are ghetto, "bro"-saying Hispanics and Italians are proper.
It's the other way around you morons. See if Annabella Sciorra played a "bro"-saying ghetto woman I wouldn't have been annoyed. But no...
STUPID person who made this movie.
I love Annabella Sciorra, but the rest are stupid.
