What I thought the ending was going to be.

and I was so darn smug with myself cos I guessed this would happen within ~5mins, only it didn't so I stopped feeling smug with myself :darn it:

Anyway.... "if you don't receive a ring by spring you won't get married" was the reading and I thought the ending would see her sat at the bottom of the stairs, it being past March 20th, all resigned to never being married, and kinda miffed, only to hear a jingling behind her, turn round to see a slinky making its was doing the stairs with a ring tied inside it -> so she received a ring by spring (a slinky IS a spring, right ?!)

So it was a big play on words, and when they showed us his bedroom there was a slinky right there centre screen, so I was all set for a big "I knew it before any of you other people, I'm so marvellous" post... maybe I'll get to do one another time :)
