Any news?
This was due to start filming in Ireland in June 2014 and Jessica Chastain has apparently dropped out.

It's an ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.
It is weird. What seems certain is that there's no imminent start date because the actors are all working on other film projects this summer. As for Jessica Chastain, she said a few days ago that she's preparing for Blonde, which, she also said doesn't have a start date yet. She didn't mention TSS.

Would make sense if it was after. Presumably she liked the direction the script was going under O'Sullivan. But it's difficult to believe that the project lost its funding because she left. Particularly since the funding seems to have come from Irish and English sources.
I've never believed the Rooney Mara story. She has too many high-profile projects on her plate to bother with this.
