Looks like pretentious art-house garbage

Nothing about that trailer compelled me to see this.

Feel the same way, but I also felt that way after seeing The Comedy's trailer and that ended up being really impressive, so I'll check it out, but definitely gonna stream it. I wouldn't pay theater prices for this.

Agreed!

I agree it looked pretentious. But I thought the trailer was compelling as hell.

"But I thought the trailer was compelling as hell"

The only thing compelling, is the power of Christ!

"The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you!!"

Say it!

I just love how the word "pretentious" is used to describe things that are different and things that people don't understand.

They're actually embodying the definition in the act of trying to use the word. Would that be irony? Where's Alanis when you need her?

I've just seen the word "pretentious" being thrown around a lot lately. Like within the last year. Was there a hipster movie that had a really good scene where the lead actor used it to win an argument or something?

I feel like maybe Jesse Eisenberg used it "The Social Network" and now all the 15 year olds who jerked to the movie now use it to pretend they're effing Zuckerberg or something. I don't know.

Main point.... you can't just say "pretentious" and get your point across, guys. Doing so... makes you... pretentious.
