USA has canceled Benched

I am guessing low ratings contributed to the cancellation.

I just read this, I'm kinda bummed!

Damn. Aside from a few exceptions like Boss or Life, I usually get why shows are cancelled. This one, I don't get. If wasn't the best sitcom ever, but it was still very fun and entertaining, and a lot funnier than some other sitcoms that have been picked up for more seasons.

Eliza Coupe REALLY need to find herself a new show, and a strong one, where she'll be the lead, naturally. And at least a six seasons TV series. Because you know what, I deserve it too. I work hard, I pay my taxes, I help my landlady carry out her garbage. I DESERVE seventy episodes of Eliza Coupe. Her comedic skills are too good, and her legs are too gloriously long. It can't end this way.

I wish they would have gone with another season. I have them recorded, fell behind near the end of the year and catching up now. I liked the show.

This show is EXCELLENT. What the hell? No promotion at all. I mean it could be so much better than SUITS. What the hell were they thinking? This show needs to come back. IT IS good, this was a bad move. They need to run this on another network but that won't happen. I mean look at the success of Brooklyn Nine Nine. It's the same style of comedy really. It was really great.

Goddamnit, I wonder whose bright idea it was to cancel this and who lead the promotion for this show...I'd fire them both. What a waste.

I agree! This show should NOT have been cancelled. Eliza Coupe was the funniest I have seen her. Writing was very sharp. Maybe it would have done better on a higher profile network. Biggest problem was probably that it didn't appeal to the 'lowest common denominator' audience. Such as Two Broke Girls, The Goldberghs, Last Man Standing. So much CRAP and they cancel this funny show. You think a minor network like USA could afford to give a show a chance to grow. Or at least promote it! Wonder what tripe has taken its place?

How was this series dropped while Sirens (USA) was picked up for a second season? It's Grimm/Constantine all over again.

Who really pays attention to USA anymore? there prime as PASSED. They could try TBS or TNT.
