Wow!
That first episode of S2 was intense.
shareFirst-person shooter perspective + Columbine-like storyline (with terrified cops) = whoosh/heartbreak eppy.
Virtually every eppy of this show equivalent to a gut-punch. It hurts but i keep watching...
Actually the Columbine cops waited outside when the actual shooting was going on. This mistake was not repeated during the Dawson shooting.
shareThat's because the Active Shooter Protocols at the time dictated that normal Patroll Officers were to secure the area and wait for SWAT to arrive. All that changed after Columbine. It actually lead to changes in Active Shooter Protocols in other countries aswell. Even in Norway, normal Patrol Officers are now to go in immediatly to stop the perpetrator. Alone, if necessary.
shareI know right. This is a totally underrated series.
shareI agree, it is under-rated
like most Canadian series......and unless it gets picked up by the US.....which I doubt that it will, it wont' get any respect....
I do wonder if it's showing in other countries...a lot of shows like this, do, and it's a success, over in especially European countries.....

It's available on one of the streaming services here in Norway. I don't know how popular it is, though.
shareBeen watching the series for a few months now and am thoroughly impressed.
The storylines are inventive, the acting is immaculate, well directed and the music is great.
This series should be famous and watched by many and yet I read/hear no buzz. Pity, because tv does not get much better than this.
Quit ya moanin
Started my binge-watch yesterday. Just just finished the s2 premiere. Episode was one of the best things I've seen on TV for a less of police dramas.
Not even Southland ever went that big for that long.
Loving it... And the binge continues...
Clever people will recognize and tolerate nothing but cleverness.
This is a truly great series. Its a gritty portrayal of a cop's life. Mostly character driven cop show. anyone expecting a non-true-to-life action packed Criminal minds, CSI type Show where each case is glamorously completed in 45 mins will be truly disappointed.
After watching this series I am glad I am not a cop in Canada.
