I think this show is WAAY too kill happy with it's OC's.

Maybe this is just me, but I honestly think some characters are killed off for no real reason. I mean I get why Earl MacGraw had to die. Otherwise Freddie Gonzales would be useless (granted, it probably would've been much better had Freddie died and Earl would be avenging HIS died but I'm splitting hairs). I also understand the death of Uncle Eddie. Again, I probably would've preferred it if he were gravely injured than full on dead, but I still feel that his death was important and earned.

But then the show goes and kills characters like The Regulator. I think that character could've made for a great neutral antagonist in the third season. A monster who's looking for a new boss and lo and behold, there's ol' Amaru with a lust for vengeance and a desire for a demon for hire. Hell, remember the old west style shootout /spoiler] from episode 9? How much cooler (and fitting) would it be for Seth to have finally defeated all the demons but to then be shot at from an unseen assailant. He'd turn around and we'd see the familiar and terrifying presence of [spoiler] Danny Trejo in the badass outfit, revealing that the final round has truly begun!

And then there's Burt . Again, no good reason for that person to die! Yeah, he went nuts and turned all one man army at the end of episode 8 but to just kill them off like that was a waste of potential, especially if it turns out there WILL be a season four (not that I'm 100% sure there will be). Instead of killing them off, how interesting would it be for Burt to deal with the fact that he went insane for a brief period? Or hell, have this one moment be the catalyst for Burt to become a season 4 antagonist?

I just think there were many more stories with these characters to tell rather than just kill them off.
