I like the show but....

I think it would be better on Cinemax or something. Where it could be more risque. While I have enjoyed the show so far it feels really sanitized compared to the movie and I feel it would be better without the restrictions

The show has nudity, blood and gore and plenty of F-bombs. Not sure what restrictions you feel that it has. No, the characters every other word isn't F this or that as it was in the movie, but they're still spoken by them (Unless you saw the apparent 'censored' versions there were rumors about. I haven't seen those ones myself as I bought the episodes directly from Amazon and they were 100% full on R rated.)

What people don't seem to get about this show is that it HAS to be different from the film. If it was beat per beat just like the movie, it wouldn't be able to be a series. It'd just be a remake of the film that sets you up with questions but leaves you hanging for answers. With the series, Robert had the chance to retell the story in more detail and fully explore why the film ended on a note that revealed the bar was actually a converted Aztec temple the whole time.

...there is no nudity in the show. only topless women.

The last time I checked, 'topless women' qualified as "nudity," of which, unless you were watching the censored versions, there was plenty of that in both seasons. What do you want, to see genitalia? There's another form of entertainment if that's what you're looking for it should be easy enough to find on the internet.

If nudity is what someone is craving so badly to see, what I'm saying is there are alternate ways to access it. TV shows and films tend to want to be a little more than just two hours of nudity, they want to have an ongoing plot that develops. Even going as far back as the original From Dusk till Dawn, the nudity in the bar was done in quick flashes. By comparison, the show has had a hell of a lot more of it.

From what I remember. S1 didn't feel sanitized at all. It was way more brutal than the film S2 seems to continue that

from what I read from others, it depends which source you view the series on. They edit the show sometimes, depending on where it is viewed.

Someone said El Ray doesn't edit out the riske stuff at all. I don't know el ray though.
