Kate's last scene

Excellent series but Kate's last scene where she had joined the brothers as a bank robber was ridicoulous...

I wasn't a big fan of it. It didn't really make sense for her to become a criminal. I often suspected that the writers didn't really know what to do with the character but still wanted to keep her around.

When Kate got out of Amaru's control, she came back as a different Kate from the previous one.

It was like she told Seth in the talk in the mine in 3x10, that girl from the beginning no longer exists.

Despite being free and the brother she loves so much to be free too and have invited her to join him, she refused because she had fallen in love with Seth(Seth also fell in love with her, as was implied in the whole 3x10) and she decided that her life had to start over with him

In season 2 they were together robbing banks and establishments, but she was not ready yet and she wanted to find her brother and Seth was still resentful of what happened to Richie, so they were not yet ready to take their partnership, but the time they spent was enough to blossom the feelings they have for each other.

Now that her brother was free and Seth had reconciled with Richie and after everything she went through, she was ready for that life.

You're obviously a Seth and Kate shipper. I didn't get that at all from the last episode.

reply

Even if it was not shipper of this couple (which I am) the producers of the series pretty much, if not completely answered yes on twitter to the fans who asked about the last episode and about their relationship.

So what I said above, is based in the episode seen and in the very words of who does the series.

It really wasn't given she decided to roll with Seth at the end of S1, look where she was at the beginning of S2.
