My first shot at the speedrun clocked in at about 6hrs55mins. I don't know how I managed to waste a whole hour rushing through! I'm trying again, and I am currently at the start of Chapter 16 'The Brothers Drake' and the clock is at 3hrs59mins. Is it possible to complete the rest of the game in the remaining two hours?
shareIf you're struggling play on the easiest setting.
You can just run through pretty much all the combat sections,
because you're basically invincible.
There's also a way of cheating the game to get the trophy in like 5 minutes.

I'm on the easiest, and it is a cakewalk, difficulty wise. But I still bother killing everyone, even with the Barok and Infinite ammo, maybe that is cumulatively killing my time! Thanks for the tip, but I'm gonna try and get it legit!
shareKilling everyone will definitely eat into your time. Even ghosting can take some time, if you're trying to earn stealth trophies, because it takes a lot of patience and planning. Running through enemy sections is your best bet.

Why don't you take a pill, bake a cake, go read the encyclopaedia.
This particular run I'm just going for speed, so I'll just barrel on through trying to avoid as many enemies as I can. Luckily the game is so good,playing through again isn't a hassle!

Just finished the Speedrun with a final time of 5hrs49mins! Even with the lock-on aim, you need to be very careful you have a clear shot, because if you even CLIP a cover/barrier it counts as a missed shot. Wait until you have a clear shot, even if it's a couple of extra seconds. Switch to Explorer if you aren't already, and use the
Barok. It kills average enemies in one shot, shotgunners in three, and Minigunners in six. And that bit where
you're being chased with Sam on the bike and he throws you the SMG to fend of the last truck, also counts toward accuracy. That thing fires FAST, and you're constantly moving so your accuracy can fall to pieces quickly if you're not careful!
