Favorite Uncharted villain?

Mine definitely has to be Lazarvich, he felt more like a threat to the characters then the others did.

reply

I agree with Lazerovich, he seemed like the most unpredictable

reply

Was he from the second or the first game? I haven't played Uncharted 4 yet, but the guy from the second was definitely the best, the boss battle at the end was sick. The mom and son from the third game were just kind of there and didn't do much, and the guy from the first game would've stood out more if they didn't being in the Spanish zombies, that was definitely the weak point there.

reply

Mother and son?! I suppose you think that Sully is Nate's dad as well?

reply

He was in the second one. I liked the ending of uncharted 4 more. It felt more real and like nates lfe was at stake.

reply

Rafe actually topped Lazarvic for me. Lazarvic was a very appropriate villain for the second game, but he was a little too cookie-cutter-villain for me. The scars, the intimidation, the body-builder physique, it's all very effective but also not the type of villain that I prefer.
Rafe felt more subdued to me. You could tell he was a ticking time bomb. The way his hatred toward Nathan just exploded in the final fight was insane, and scary. Rafe was definitely a more fleshed-out character, and his hatred for drake felt more personal than any of the other villains.

1. Zoran Lazarevi?
2. Rate Adler
3. Harry Flynn/Eddie Raja (tie)

reply

Rafe. Psychopath with an inferiority complex wasting millions of dollars because he wanted acknowledgement, but no one could take him seriously. He was a fun villain.

I really liked Flynn as an antagonist, but I'm not sure I consider him a villain in the same sense as the other big bads.

reply

Rafe had potential to be the best but his character wasn't developed enough so Zoran Lazarevic.

reply

Genuinely curious: how was Lazarevic a developed villain?

reply

He wasn't really developed. But Lazarevic, from what I remember anyway, was in more scenes and felt like more of a threat. He was a pure evil a-hole who could just lose it and start offing everybody at any minute. I didn't really get that sense of pure evil from Rafe until the end of the game, though you could see flashes of it at the start. I think had he been in a few scenes and we got a bit more story about him and the Drake brothers, I would've put him at the top.

reply

I side with you on this. Lazarevic was not in many scenes at all. Rafe was in FAR more scenes and was a WAY more developed character. Anyone who says differently needs to replay the games. Lazarevic was scary, yes, but as I said in my own post, Lazarevic was cookie-cutter villain. Scary, but nothing special about him. Rafe was more complex.
