So is there another supernatural element in this game.

In the first one we had mutated spaniards.

In the second one it was mutated humans wearing yeti skins.

In the third one it was djinn (ok, they were hallucinations but still).

In A Thief's End, there really isn't anything supernatural (game has a more realistic feel) but Avery (the pirate) left behind mummies filled with some sort of explosive. That's as close as supernatural I can think of in this game.

^Ironically enough, the pirate conspiracy creeps me out more than the Supernatural things in the last few games.

I agree that the conspiracy was creepy but nothing was scarier then those zombies in Drakes Fortune.

Sadly no... and the whole time I thought something supernatural like a curse
could have happened in the place they explore last - and then none :(

Great game. Maybe better to know, that there is nothing spooky this time,
so you don´t get disappointed.

By the time that Sam joked 'pirate zombies?' I guessed there'd be nothing supernatural this time . But, remember , the last time that we got a joke like that , in Uncharted 2, where Nathan wearily says 'If there's a zombie round here.. ’ it was part Naughty Dog injoke that the ones in Drake's Fortune were too scary and too hard perhaps but also perhaps in retrospect that zombies were on their mind for The Last of Us, made by something like half of the Uncharted 2 team plus some new staff presumably.

In short, I think undead pirates were too over the top for subtle, grounded, UC4 (even for its multiplayer - if they'd included them, people would have then missed them not being in single player) but they could always turn up in UC4 single player DLC episode, an unnamed project of Naughty Dog project (or even Last of Us 2 or prequel if there is one which would be as some kind of Easter Egg , I'd guess).
