The best game on current gen systems so far.

I was one of the lucky few who got the chance to play this game pre launch. All I can say is "WOW!". This game gave me goose bumps once the title theme came on after the prison scene. This game has by far the best graphics I have seen in a video game. I own PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and a PC rig. I've never been more impressed by the micro facial expressions of the character in a game before. This game require your special attention to the nuances and details. It is a pure treat and delight in every sense of the word.

Do yourself a favor and go get this game.

Im so glad this game is being called the swansong near perfect masterpiece of the series. People say its either up there with Among Thieves or better than it

For me the best game of the current generation has been The Witcher 3, however, I can say now that Uncharted 4 gets a well deserved second place.

My favorite from the series remains to be Among Thieves, but it is not easy to choose, perhaps I would say that in terms of the adventure per se, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception are better (the lost cities of Shambhala and Iram of the Pillars are far more interesting and exotic than the lost pirate colony of Libertalia), however, the development of the characters, the emotional level of the storyline, and their interactions to each other is the best of the series in A Thief's End.

The action sequences are breathtaking, there are more puzzles than ever before and it is long enough to make us have that sensation and feeling of intense adventure the whole time.

I don't know how to feel about the ending, on one side it is great and it definitely wraps up the whole saga in a generally satisfying manner, on the other hand, it is kinda sad that a franchise that still had the potential to give us more adventures (every game was a different adventure, but with the same characters) comes to an end, whereas there are many other franchises that already had an ending or have nothing interesting to give anymore and yet continue to be milked (MGS, God of War, Resident Evil, giving us wooden and forced storylines in an effort to stay alive).

I missed Chloe, Charlie and the supernatural element in A Thief's End, but overall is a solid game that represents the best of the video games, and in a generation that has been quite lazy and lacks great games, it proudly stands up there and sets the bar in a very high place for future games.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, THIS is how a great video game is done!

I agree with everything you have said. The only thing I would like to add is that I have not finished Witcher 3. Lately I have been a hard time finishing games that includes Quantum Break, MGS 5, Witcher 3 and Dragon Age. Uncharted 4 kept me glued to the game for hours on end and I had the urge to clock it and it was more than worth it.

I'm totally bummed and wished I had experienced the game better than you guys. In my opinion I found the gameplay utterly boring and uncharted 2 was far superior. The graphics and acting were absolutely stellar but something about the area felt empty and made the game drag. Endless crates, climbing, and pointless bonus letters bored me to death. I guess I expected way too much from this game since I was extremely hyper before it came out. With that said oddly, I absolutely loved the Malaysia job section, a normal life and the epilogue where there is no action. It was gorgeous and really fun looking around.

I love Uncharted, and any opportunity to dive back into Nate's world is a treat. But A Thief's End left me feeling unsatisfied. I don't regret playing it and will again - and I love the gorgeous wide open spaces - but it felt like the canvas was too big for these artists.

I've heaped a lot of criticism on this game, and I hate that because I don't like disparaging anybody's hard work. And because there's so much about this game that's good. But that just leaves me more frustrated with the stuff that I think should have been better.

The writing was competent. But we've been used to brisk pacing, strong plots, and crisp, original dialogue in the Uncharted series. This time, the writing was just competent. And the dialogue was - just competent as well. The fights were so repetitive. There's a reason previous entries in the franchise had secondary (and even tertiary) villains with their own agendas - and gangs - and dramatically changing backdrops.

I just found this outing rather flat and humorless. Sure didn't blow anything out of the water for me - aside from Avery's ship.

And I really, really missed Nate's Theme. That's like making a Star Wars movie without the Star Wars theme.
