Afronauts

In Frances Bodomo’s 14 minute long short film ‘Afronauts’, the audience is taken on a wild journey of Edward Makuka Nkoloso, a man who decided to take Zambia’s space journey into his own hands. Nkoloso played by Hoki Fortuna does a beautiful job of showing the extremities that he put his space cadets through.

From the acting to the cinematography, 'Afronauts' offers a very important commentary on what happens when a singular person takes on what should be government funded projects. Overall this short film is an easy watch and should definitely be the next short film to watch for you!
