I know this isn't a sequel to "The Collection." But it could be...

First off, if you haven't seen "The Collection," there is a SPOILER or two here, so please turn away.

My thoughts as to how this could be made into a sequel for "The Collector" series. The plot of this movie is about a guy hiding a secret in his basement. Now, at the end of "The Collection" we see Arkin finally getting the collector into the box and slamming it shut. Great ending, by the way. I feel like this could be a sequel to that. Hear me out...

What if now Arkin is keeping the collector in his cellar, setting up his own traps as his kind of justice for the collector. A neighbor notices strange things occurring next door and starts to investigate. The neighbor finds out that Arkin is keeping this guy in his basement, and torturing him. So the neighbor thinks Arkin is the bad guy, when in reality he's not. By the end the neighbor stops Arkin, and frees the collector, letting him reign his terror once again. Obviously not knowing what he has done. And who knows, maybe the neighbor that freed the collector could be his first victim with he new freedom.

This is a thought that crossed my mind when I found out about this. I doubt that this is how it is going to be, but I could def see this working as a sequel if it were done that way.

Well Josh plays the guy who suspects his neighbour is a killer. So yeah. Lol

I loved the ending to the Collection as well--part of me wants a sequel, and part of me wants to leave it as is. It gave me closure having Arkin trap the Collector and imagine the torture he's going to pay him back with. I'd be afraid of a third movie killing Arkin off so that the Collector could escape.

But yeah, like the other poster said; Bill Engvall is the villain, not Josh, so that wouldn't work. I like the idea though. That'd be a cool twist.
