If they went to the trouble of showing it on the big screen my guess is a dvd release is coming. Here in the states I assume it would follow the same route as the RSC production of Hamlet -- a PBS showing and then a dvd.

It will be a recording of the live stage production, not a separate movie like Hamlet.
~yays~ I just caught a piece of this on YouTube and when they said it had been live-transmitted to theaters, I was hoping they would issue it on DVD. It would not hurt my feelings one bit if they did every RSC production that way (though it would do serious damage to my wallet!)
