what happened to the "dirty jump" guy?

In beginning of the movie, there were three guys in the break room. Whit jumped to Infini. Leader guy got left behind. And "dirty jump" guy disappeared. Where did he go? What happened to him?

They found his ass frozen in a chair. When Whit vented the station, he killed his boy.

One thing they never explained was what had been done with his implant, they draw attention to it like it's going to become a major plot point but it never comes up again.
