And Dustin Gee (who shared the last bill with Tommy) collapsed on stage 31 December 1985 and died two days later.

And Sid James .... 26 April 1976, Heart Attack whilst on stage at the Sunderland Empire aged 62, Les Dawson saw his ghost whilst doing panto there and vowed never to return.

I never knew until recently that Sid's fellow Carry On member Peter Butterworth also died in a theatre. He was in the wings waiting to go on stage when it happened. It was during a pantomime show on 16th January, 1979.

Not forgetting of course Eric Morecambe who also sadly died on stage of a heart attack. The part where they showed Tommy phoning, him I wasn't sure if it happened or was added for dramatic effect.

I was working a night shift on overtime and didn't see it, but heard about it during the course of the night.
