Devolving into Just Another MacFarlane Mad-Libs Gag Show

Unlike some people who can't stop squealing because their panties are in a twist, I liked the first few episodes, but this last one (episode 6) was crammed full of those random, completely out of context gags that make Family Guy and American Dad boring as phuc. Like the narrator flipping the picture upside down, the split-down syndrome gag, the fight between ernesto and his mustache clone, etc.

One more episode of totally dull, pointless gags and I'm giving up on this one.

Call me crazy, but I think the show is getting better and better and episode 6 was the best one yet. I guess I'm a fan of boring, pointless random gags. Shrug. Hope it sticks around.

I've only seen that episode you're referring to, and we all said exactly that: it was trying too hard to be family guy. The random stuff just wasn't funny & it brought it down a notch if anything.

So yeah, even without any previous context it was obviously trying too hard to be a Seth McFarlane clone.
