Could be the second worst horror I have seen so far.

I vaguely remember seeing 'One missed call' a long time ago. I without a doubt I would say it was the worst horror flick I had ever seen. And that was the remake of the Korean original. I wondered why anyone would want to remake such a terrible horror film. Anyway 'annabelle' almost came close, but not quite there. Marketed as the prequel to the successful 'Conjuring 2013', this movie tells us the history behind the doll that The Warrens kept locked in their store. Seriously speaking who would care about the history of a doll anyway.

First half of the film has plenty of jump scares with a murder incident that happens which causes the scary goings on. In the second it is revealed that the doll is behind the strange occurrences. The Child's soul is what the demon wants. Now this is pretty routine stuff. I question to ask why would no one think about wanting to burn the doll. A very easy solution. Wooden performances with slow pace makes this one a typical flick. Don't expect much.

That's something I will never understand about scary movies involving dolls...I would try every method possible to completely annihilate the damn thing. Granted, I guess if the thing's possessed, it would jump into something or someone else possibly...but a trash can doesn't cut it. Either burn it or chop it into a million tiny pieces!

On a side note, I would never look at that freaky doll, smile, and put it on a shelf in my baby's room. I'd probably scream and throw the lid of the box right the hell back on. Possessed or not, that is one HIDEOUS looking doll!

The so called " real" doll looks less creepy but it still is scary and bizarre.I wouldn't want it around. Chuck that thing off a bridge or somethimg. Get creative, put it in a port-ojohn toilet or something

I'd take it to a church, drench it in holy water, etch a cross into its forehead and then put it into a concrete cast.
