I loved this movie , it was sweet, cute and also had its share of wild moments , and my parents were with me while I was watching this , and thought I din't understand a thing , especially that Amsterdam toy store.
Anyways I wanted Rani to end up with Alexander ,

It would have ruined the end. The whole point was how Queen liberates herself from cultural and social bindings and gets a life! Its about how she was able to freely make choices.

Then that movie would have been called as "Twilight" not Queen...

Queen is a movie which came just when twilight saga was preaching girls how important is it to have a boyfriend even if he was 110 yrs old and when he ditched her,he runs to the arms of another boy.....

Queen shows that a woman need not have a man for her mental support and she should bounce from one man to another man.....

Well said. If you liked this movie, id recommend fashion(2008) & English Vinglish(2012).Also i tend to take an instant liking to people who take jabs at twilight. Its just one of those movies that i just love to hate. Cheers.

Well, if you see the end credits there is one photo of just her with the Russian dude (in a FB status update) where she has writes... "Aap ko dheere dheere pata chalega".

So don't lose hope :)

This movie is ok...but so overrated.. it might even go to top 250..what a joke..

Absolutely Khalek. People be acting it's the second coming or something. It was 2 hours of pure drivel with Taka character making it seem what a joke it was. And talk of joke they pixelled out the bra part but not the sex toy scene. What an utter joke!

This is why Indian films are so behind in international level. And don't be all hating me cuz I am not Indian.

ACTUALLY, marrying the Russian guy would be an interesting twist instead of what you knew was coming miles away.

And they had to put in a stereotypical de facto looooong club scene, huh? Sheesh.

Yeah bro, I can easily name almost 500 movies that are better than this movie or any other hindi movies in top 250. They are just not international level.

I have to agree with you there. But by bollywood standards, this movie is gold.

Absolutely not true. This is probably because you think bollywood is synonymous with indian cinema. Bollywood is only a small part of indian cinema. There are some really good films coming out in regional languages. I dont think they would get the financial backing to compete with a bollywood film though. And i dont think they would get screens in dhaka. Im assuming you are from dhaka, because of your name.

If you honestly believe in that, you didnt quite get the point of the film. The film was about the protogonist finally getting over her misogynistic, possibly racist punk of a fiance and finding the courage to stand on her own two feet. She travelled to a foreign country, alone, made some new friends, and decided that she wasnt ready to spend the rest of her life under the shadow of a man, atleast not yet. This movie was about her FREEDOM. Marrying/dating an indian/russian/french/japaneese or any other guy from any other part of the world, would be out of character for queen towards the end.
