There's a lot of stuff to unpack in season 2!

This season was sooooo good, but i feel that it might be a little too culturally dense for some people. There's also a lot of crime history packed in too. Like The Yardies, and The Showa Posse are REAL gangs. there's also TONS of social commentary about black folks, in terms of intercultural rivalries, being immigrants, being un-unified like the other ethnic crime organizations, there was also a lot of commentary on colorism, and of course good ole fashion racism. there's a whole BUNCH of shit to unpack this season, Cheo Hadari Coker did his research...plus this season was fuckin BRUTAL!! way to go Edge Lord Marvel lol

Yes, there is! but i loved it! i got all of the cultural references that might have puzzled others. I knew of The Showa posse from the docudrama crime series called American Gangster.

I liked it a lot better than season 1 b/c of that shitty bait and switch of the main Villain after episode 6, It should have been Cottonmouth till the very end including the part where he wears Hammertech "SUPASUIT".

Once Diamondback showed up it was all downhill from there, he was so ridiculous and over the top, I thought I switched channels to Saturday morning cartoons. It's like the writers got lazy and just threw a bunch of shit on the story board to see what would stick, sigh...
