Do I need to watch The Defenders before I see the 3rd season of DareDevil?

I did and ive not watched Iron Fist, Jessica Jones or Luke Cage, but did watch it just cos the very first episode of DD3 shows something involving Elektra from the end of Defenders so i wanted to find out what happened.

Thanks. I guess will have to watch The Defenders.

I too haven't watched IF and LC at all. I have only watched 1st season of JJ (which had about half a dozen padding episodes). Only only I have enjoyed is DD S1, S2 was okay but reptitive. I think all these shows could do with at least 4/5 less episodes of padding.

S3 is much better the S2 and on a par with S1 if not may even of felt a little better!

The Defenders isn't as good as DareDevil but it has a build up for the events in season 3 Daredevil. You might feel a little lost if you don't watch it first.

I actually loved all seasons of Dare Devil. Season 2 may not get the love but I loved the intro of The Punisher and Elektra. To me it was still fantastic.
