Anyone prefer season 2 over 1?

Seeing how season 2 wasn’t met with as much enthusiasm as season 1, I wonder if any fans out there actually found this last season to be an improvement? Or at the very least liked it better?

I do consider the first season stronger in virtually every aspect, but personally season 2 met my expectations. It was grittier, more gripping (mainly because of the Punisher), mysterious, and pretty action driven (while this doesn’t make the show for me I thought it was a huge plus). Here’s to an even better season 3!

As a Punisher fan, I didn't want to see it because I figured they would screw it up. I ended up thinking they did a really good job, though. I liked this season more.

The first four episodes are outstanding, and so are the ones when Kingpin shows back up. But everything that has to do with the hand is pretty dumb. It's not a bad season but besides the punisher stuff it's pretty meh.

I think there are pros and cons. I think Punisher has been one of the best characters on this show and the episode with him and Kingpin in prison was brilliant. And while a lot of people hated Elektra, I really appreciated her and the Hand plot. That said, season 2 had some severe pacing problems as the last few episodes seemed really rushed. Also, the Punisher's arc never really intertwines with the Elektra arc, which made it seem like two shows at times. I liked it and Daredevil remains my favorite of all the Marvel Netflix shows, but I have trouble finding anything wrong with season 1.

I have to say that I agree with every word, especially with that last sentence (a flawless season).

I’m really hoping season 3 will knock it out of the park and potentially give season 1 a run for its money.

I thought season 2 was damn as good as Season 1....

Jon Bernthal's Punisher was absolutely Brilliant

I rated Season 1 9.5/10 and season 2 9/10

Yes, I liked season 2 much better than season 1. I also liked it a bit better than 3.
