Seriously, I can't think of a better series released in the last 16 years no matter the format. Cable or regular TV or streaming service... there have been some great newer shows but nothing that tops what Daredevil has delivered over 26 episodes.
Yeah, Game of Thrones is the only one I can think of that is clearly better.
shareWithout question. Game of Thrones is good but it's shtick got really old really fast. Then again Daredevil season one was perfection while season 2 had quality decline after the Punisher 4 parter ended. It was still amazing just not as good.
shareJessica Jones is just a liiiitle bit better. If we're counting S1 of course. Averaging out the two however, JJ has it beat, unfortunately. S2 had too little focus and an awful main villain.

There are a lot of contenders, even though ive never been a proper fan people would say Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, shows like Sopranos and The Wire, and even a show like Stranger Things is to me one of the all time great shows which feels like a near perfect movie more than a series.
