What is the whole "world on fire" thing?

Watch the "World on Fire" episode. Don't go into the kitchen for a beer or to feed the pitbull the breakfast you forgot to give him. Stay on the couch or else you'll miss it, the scene in which Matt and Claire are talking about what he sees.

How they show it is a lot more effective than they can do in the comics.

When he started mentioning what he could see, I kinda knew what we were going to see if they showed it. I must say it's effectively done.

On that note, when Foggy asks Matt if he's actually blind and Matt says not technically as he sees the world on fire... for some reason I find that part a bit funny. Must be Foggy's disbelief and frustration.
