Ok, calm down. Let's not go too far. It's far from the best show on Netflix. But it is pretty good.

I'm guessing that the hate for it is just kind of a fashion, hip thing. It's the last of the four Marvel Netflix shows, it's time to not like it now.

It wouldn't surprise me if The Defenders gets the same kind of response. Especially with all the expectation. It wouldn't matter if it's the most profound thing to have ever been exposed to a camera lens.

I don't care that he wasn't Asian but I think Finn was a bad choice.

Well I didn't hate the show but it definitely had it's problems, two of which are the length of the series (c'mon Netflix, quit dragging out every Marvel show to 13 episodes) and the hollow characters. The script should have been tighter with less exposition about the running of Brand. All that was kind of wasted viewing time. I would have liked to have seen more about Danny's training by the monks as a young orphan. That would have been far more intriguing. They also made Joy's character kind of joyless. She's pretty and very successful but has the personality of a sheet of cardboard. Again, I blame the writing for the way her character was presented. Overall, if they had focused more on Danny's upbringing to be the Iron Fist and limited the series to 8-9 episodes, the series would have fared much better. Not my favorite Netflix Marvel show but certainly more interesting in the end (with the revelations about The Hand) than Luke Cage was at the end of it's run.

It is my least favorite of all the Netflix Marvel series but i still enjoyed it quite a bit...
As for the lead i think hes talented and loved his performance on 'Thrones...but i would have cast someone else
Pretty decent overall imo and no big complaints...

The weird thing about people not liking Iron Fist because the guy isn't Asian is that the original Iron Fist was 100% white. If it is wrong to have a white person portraying an Asian, it is certainly wrong to have an Asian portraying a white person.
