Heard a story about the murders

I'm kind of a nut for listening to people narrate true horror stories from Reddit, in particular from YouTuber Lazy Masquerade. In one of his videos from almost two years ago, one of his stories was actually kind of about the Villisca axe murders. It's told from the perspective of somebody whose great-grandmother was friends with one of the girls who was killed. Here's a link to the story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez3yda92nT4 The story starts at the 16:35 mark. Enjoy!

Oh, what a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!

LordJaeger,

I have heard the story since I was about 16 yrs old. My grandparents are from there and I think the story is incredibly sad but totally
Grabs you and you just feel like you need to solve it I do know that my great aunt was to spend the night with them but she ended up getting sick and couldn't go. Sorry I rambled but the story! Thanks for the link to read.

Thanks for the link! I'll check it out.

And those stories people post on Reddit are pretty crazy. I don't use Reddit very often, but I was on a board for The Conjuring 2 (I think that was the one), and someone posted a link for some true horror stories on Reddit. Anyways, I clicked the link and ended up reading these people's stories until 3am lol. Some of them are actually really creepy.

This movie ignores the other key suspects in the murders and also manages to tarnish the reputation of Lena Gertrude Stillinger; suggesting she let the killer in for a secret "get together".

Here's a pretty good site with all the info regarding the house, the victims, the suspects, etc.

That's nothing. I've met two murderers in my life.
