Not bad

One of the meanings of "Entertainment" is to think thoroughly about something, ie, to entertain an idea. This movie has shown a dark site to psychological driven investigative techniques, and has been entertaining afterwards as well.

This movie brings on a lot of questions on our own beliefs and the ways we validate them to justify questionable and maybe even unethical and inhumane acts. How many of our own behavior is caused by the mere acceptance of a suggestion ?

The fact that there was some sideways thriller going on was required to show how deep suggestion goes. It is not the premise of the movie, but it is necessary. The crowd seeking the "other type" of entertainment, the one that seeks emotions, scares, etc, were disappointed. My critics to the audience aside, the female characters do not develop very well and do not get to the regression investigation; the eerie aspects were overdone; and the psychologist could have been thrown in as a significant part of the plot instead of being an accessory.

All this together does not diminish how entertaining the movie was, which is its basic premise. I recommend watching it.
